A one-of-a-kind pouch inspired by the changing greens of Hove Lawns, from fresh spring growth to the deeper, earthier shades of autumn.

The front is pieced by hand from carefully chosen reclaimed and remnant textiles in moss, sage, forest green, soft grey and natural tones. Among them is a tiny bicycle print, a quiet reference to the cyclists travelling alongside the lawns on Hove’s seafront.

The reverse is made from textured olive-green fabric, finished with simple vertical stitching. A metal zip opens to reveal a softly checked lining.

Slim but useful, Hove Lawns is suited to a small notebook, pens, glasses, personal essentials or the bits and pieces that otherwise settle at the bottom of a larger bag.

A one-of-a-kind patchwork carry, made slowly from beautiful remnants of linen, wool and chenille.

Kemptown Carry brings together colour, texture and thoughtful reuse in a generously sized zipped pouch designed for the things you like to keep together.

The front is pieced by hand from narrow strips of reclaimed and leftover textiles, including rich blue and turquoise chenille, navy linen, soft grey and vibrant pink wool, and a dark green striped weave. The different textures and irregular blocks give the patchwork its distinctive, contemporary character.

The reverse is kept deliberately simple in deep turquoise-blue chenille, allowing the patchwork front to take centre stage.

Open the silver zip and there is another burst of colour inside: a beautiful Liberty cotton lining in deep blue, turquoise, green and vivid fuchsia pink, chosen to echo the colours of the patchwork.

With a 2-inch boxed base, Kemptown Carry has more room than a flat pouch whilst still being easy to slip into a larger bag. Use it for a book and everyday essentials, travel bits, toiletries, creative supplies, or simply those things which otherwise migrate mysteriously around the bottom of a tote.

A one-of-a-kind quilted pouch pieced from colourful remnants and relaxed textiles.

North Laine is a freestyle patchwork pouch, made slowly in my Brighton studio from a collection of fabric remnants chosen for their colour, texture and contrast.

The front has been pieced intuitively, combining teal textured fabric, soft florals, Liberty cotton remnants and relaxed neutral textiles, framed with dark strips that give the patchwork its distinctive graphic feel.

The reverse is made from rich teal fabric, softly quilt stitched for texture and structure. Boxed corners give the pouch a useful 4 cm depth, allowing it to hold more than a flat pouch whilst still remaining soft and easy to pack away.

Finished with an antique brass zip and fully lined, it's a useful size for make-up and toiletries, a small creative project, travel essentials, chargers and tech accessories, or simply keeping everyday bits together.

Each Brighton Stitch patchwork piece is made individually from the fabrics I have available, so this exact combination won't be repeated.

A roomy, one-of-a-kind carry for books, notebooks and the little things you want close at hand.

Sunday Carry was made for slower days.

Large enough for a favourite book, notebook, reading glasses and other everyday essentials, it sits somewhere between a pouch and a small carry case. The boxed base gives it enough depth to stand proudly on its own, whilst the soft construction means it can also fold flatter when not in use.

The front has been pieced intuitively from a collection of relaxed linens, brocante red gingham and Liberty cotton remnants. Rather than traditional straight patchwork, I worked freely with curved and meandering strips of fabric, allowing the shapes and textures of the remnants to lead the design. No two panels could ever be quite the same.

The reverse is made from red and natural gingham, softly quilt stitched in vertical lines for texture and structure. An antique brass zip finishes the piece and complements the warm, timeworn character of the fabrics.

Inside, Sunday Carry is fully lined in a soft, pale cotton print.

Use it for a book or Kindle and glasses, a journal and pens, small creative projects, travel essentials or simply the collection of things you like to carry with you.
