A one-of-a-kind pouch pieced together from tiny pieces of Liberty lawn, each one saved from previous Brighton Stitch projects.
The front is a colourful patchwork of florals, botanicals and tiny prints, quilted in simple vertical lines to give it softness and structure. Turn it over and the mood changes completely: reclaimed dark indigo denim from a pair of jeans, with the original jeans seam deliberately left in place as part of the design.
Inside, I've kept things simple with a black cotton lining, allowing the patchwork to do all the talking. An antique brass zip and ring pull complete the pouch.
I called this one Scrapbook because that's rather what it feels like - little pieces of fabric from different projects, collected together and given another life.
A useful size for make-up, travel essentials, chargers, sewing notions or the everyday bits and pieces you want to keep together inside a larger bag.
