A one-of-a-kind clutch in soft sage, turquoise, cream and grey, handmade from repurposed wool needlepoint in an Ehrman design.
The textured tapestry front is paired with deep indigo denim saved from a remnant, with added flexible stiffening behind the denim to give the bag a gently structured feel.
Inside, silver floral Liberty cotton poplin brings a subtle shimmer, finished with a discreet Brighton Stitch label. A cream zip with antique brass-coloured teeth and a twin-star pull completes the piece.
Carry it on its own for lunch, dinner or an evening out, enjoying the contrast between intricate needlework and simple denim.
Made individually in the Brighton Stitch studio, giving an existing piece of textile craftsmanship another life.
Measurements
Approximately 24 × 18 cm (9½ × 7 in), width × height.
Care
Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron. For light surface marks, gently dab with a clean, barely damp cloth, testing an inconspicuous area first. Avoid rubbing or soaking, and allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. For deeper cleaning, consult a professional cleaner experienced with wool needlepoint.
