This linen is woven in small batches in Eastern Europe, a region with a long tradition of growing flax and producing exceptional linen fabrics.
The lining is a soft sage check cotton blend, chosen to complement the rich pine green linen while adding a subtle surprise inside the bag.
Linen is one of nature's most durable fibres. Rather than wearing out, it softens and develops character over time, making each Ashdown Tote uniquely yours.
The relaxed texture, gentle drape and natural creasing are all part of what makes linen so appealing.
Wash at 30°C using a non-biological detergent. Do not tumble dry. Shake the bag into shape after washing and dry flat. Linen naturally tightens after washing, but the fibres relax again as the bag is used. Avoid drying in direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure may gradually lighten the natural colour.
