The South Downs Runner Tote is inspired by Autumn hues in the park and made from a dead-stock stair runner, 100% jute. I have transformed into a practical everyday bag with a clean, contemporary feel.
It features warm rusty terracotta with woven stripes in olive, navy, charcoal and natural tones. Strong pure cotton webbing handles provide comfortable shoulder carry and plenty of strength for everyday use.
Designed to be simple, useful and versatile, this tote is large enough for shopping, library books, knitting projects, work essentials or a day out by the sea.
Like every Brighton Stitch piece, it is handmade in small batches using carefully selected reclaimed and repurposed textiles, giving beautiful fabrics a second life.
